What is LiNQ?

TheatreiNQ in Your Classroom

TheatreiNQ have created engaging curriculum-inspired productions to illuminate text and ideas for many years.   Now, our LiNQ Team are a group of travelling players who are available to travel to your classroom, all year round.

In the past, many of the company's young talent have gone on to tour schools nationally with Bell Shakespeare Players, Grin and Tonic, Poetry in Action and the Australian Shakespeare Company.  Now, we are aiming to keep our talent in regional Queensland and nurture the next generation of artists.  Not only will you engage your students, but by supporting LiNQ, you will be nurturing the next generation of regional artists; keeping jobs local and helping TheatreiNQ to continue to provide employment for the talent in our region.  Well done you!

Our 2024 LiNQ Team are:

The Theatre Time Machine

Come on a thrilling (or at the very least, mildly amusing) adventure through the history of theatre.

DRAMARAMA is a sketch comedy show following the fearless theatre expert, Nelle, and the fearful theatre enthusiast, Ron through the weird and wacky evolution of people performing on stages. From gregarious groups of Greeks to Shakespeare’s fancy frilly collars, no stage door will be left unopen in this thorough (not really but it sounds impressive) time travelling experience.

Running time:

Approx. 70min no interval

$880 (inc GST) for up to 100 students
