THE CULTURE CLUB
Created by Terri Brabon, The Culture Club is designed for young people in Townsville who express commitment and dedication to the Arts and are looking to strengthen their skills in a practical and professional environment.
The Culture Club comprises a small group of talented young actors between Grades 9 -12. Participation is by invitation only and each student is nominated by a teacher from their school. The Culture Club participate in Masterclasses with Artistic Director Terri Brabon, Ensemble Actor Paris Walsh and other key ensemble members, attend specific rehearsals of TheatreiNQ Mainstage shows and receive invitations to each show performed by the Company during the year.

MASTERCLASSES
Artistic Director Terri Brabon & Ensemble Actor Paris Walsh, along with other members of the Company Ensemble deliver 4 Masterclasses throughout the year, focussing on creating ensemble and the importance of physical and vocal warm-ups.
REHEARSAL OBSERVATION
Participants are invited behind the scenes to attend rehearsals of the Company's productions throughout the year. From the early rehearsal stage, through to run throughs, observing the Company in rehearsals offers students the opportunity to learn the responsibilities of the actor, the language of direction and the importance of working as an ensemble.
THEATREINQ PERFORMANCES
Each participant is given a complimentary ticket to each of the Company's productions throughout the year, providing students with access to high quality professional performances throughout the year.

THINGS FOR TEACHERS TO CONSIDER BEFORE NOMINATING:
* we can only accept two students per school
* whilst the programme does offer some flexibility with dates - it is important to make sure the nominated student isn't already over-committed with school or other extra-curricular engagements.
