The outcomes of iNQubator will result in elevating the skills of emerging artists, attracting talent to remain in the region and facilitating the thoughtful and strategic succession planning for TheatreiNQ future leadership. After the first three years of mentorship, we aim to employ these creatives over the following two years in the roles in which they have been mentored with continued mentorship from key staff to oversee, support and nurture their development while in those positions. This should include directing shows for the company, designing and/or constructing sets, design and implementation of marketing campaigns, taking on teaching artists positions in the ThiNQ Ed program as well as taking on some of the responsibility of teaching the next generation through the Bridge Project. Beyond the five years of this iNQubator programme, lies a company rich in skills and experience; a regional community bursting with opportunities in the arts and a legacy solid in its foundation and secure in its succession planning. In companionship with The Bridge Project training, we believe iNQubator is the logical next step in TheatreiNQ’s capability to facilitate the training, development and professional career pathways of the regional arts leaders of tomorrow.
