The Wars Of The Roses
General Auditions
For our epic 2020 Season of Shakespeare's The Wars of the Roses, we are offering the opportunity for local community actors to audition to join our Ensemble for a show during this special 10th Birthday Season.

These general auditions are not for specific roles in the Season – rather they are a chance for us to meet new actors in the region, who are passionate about working with the company and who we feel may compliment our current ensemble. All ages, backgrounds, experience and ethnicities are welcome to apply - all you require is a genuine commitment.

THE WARS OF THE ROSES
By William Shakespeare
in an adaptation by Terri Brabon
Synopsis

Next year, TheatreiNQ celebrates our Tenth Birthday!

2020 will see the TheatreiNQ Ensemble forge through hundreds of years of history in a bold, brave, new adaptation by Artistic Director Terri Brabon of 'The Wars of the Roses', encompassing eight of Shakespeare's history plays. This incredible true story of one of the bloodiest periods in English History, formed the basis of the hugely popular "The Game of Thrones" saga. TheatreiNQ's "The Wars of the Roses Trilogy" promises to be a dynamic, reworking of the story, illuminating the female characters and other pivotal women of the period. This epic event will roll out throughout 2020 over three chapters, across three performance seasons, in three different performance venues, culminating in September with the final chapter staged in Queens Gardens as the 25th Shakespeare Under the Stars.

Subscriptions for the our Tenth Birthday Celebration Season will go on sale soon!
